In Germany, we are witnessing a powerful rebirth of militarism. Although we are nowhere close to an uprising against capitalism, but already is the Bundeswehr being prepared for it. Inside the country, a propaganda campaign — involving conferences, movie theatres, schools, government offices, public oaths, large tattoos, and military parades (e.g. Müllheim June 27, 2009) — aims at freeing German soldiers from the “historic baggage” of National Socialism.

Aotearoa: Solidarity with the anti-militarists on trial in Berlin

End the criminalisation of left-wing structures -- for the immediate cessation of the 129(a) investigations!

In the last year four terrorism investigations of left-wing activists have been uncovered, which has led to wide spread criticism of the practices of the investigation authorities. Away from the eyes of the public the investigations in all four cases are still ongoing and with them the surveillance operations of over 40 people.

We are writing to express our grave concern with the abuse of democracy and freedom recently committed by the German government against Andrej Holm and other individuals, for alleged membership in, or support of, a so-called "militante gruppe."
